Regiment Way Golf Club Report 25th August.

The Junior Club Championship was played at Regiment Way Golf Centre on Wednesday August the 20th.This was won by Scott Fletcher with a gross 72. Not quite two Olympic Golds but still very good winning both the Men's Club Championship and the Junior Championship in the same season. The Handicap Competition played along with the Junior Championship was won by Jordan Russell with a gross 90, handicap 34 and net 56. Second place went to Mike Bantock with his 98, h/c 36 and net 62.

On Saturday the 23rd. the ladies competed in their Rosebowl Competition. This was won by Jacqui O'Connell with 39 points, the runner up was Mary Homer with 38 points.

Following the ladies the men played for their Claret Cup. The winner of this competition was Malcolm Barnard on 38, one ahead of second placed Steve Williams' 37 points
